Jen’s passion and energy for her work shine on the teams she works with. Her strong organization and management skills ensure projects progress without missing a beat.

Jen brings a broad base of experience from different fields of work. She began her career at the American College of Sports Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana as a Program Coordinator for the Global Health Initiative “Exercise is Medicine,” collaborating with national and global partners on program objectives and growth. After 4 years she transitioned to University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, becoming a Practice Transformation Facilitator, working alongside pediatric providers to enhance patient care delivery through quality improvement initiatives, and then moving to adult primary care practice. During this time Jen received her Masters in Public Health, focusing on Social and Behavioral Sciences from Cleveland State University. Her last role with the UH system was serving as a Sr. Quality Improvement Specialist for Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, working with multidisciplinary teams to improve quality and safety, for both patients and providers. This work included a broad scope – clinical effectiveness teams, pediatric innovation, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and grant-based project work.

Throughout these roles, she saw and employed the pivotal and essential skillsets that teams needed to move their projects forward. She also saw a greater need for these services on a broader scale and the gaps that needed to be filled. From this, Jen was inspired to create Essential PM – to be THAT essential member of your team.

Whether it’s project management, writing a grant, creating or editing content, or inspiring and motivating teams to keep moving forward, her skills will meet your project’s needs.
